In this role, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing inventory, scheduling bulk loads, and ensuring our products are always in stock. You'll coordinate with outside sales, assist producers with their feed and vaccination needs, and maintain our delivery calendar. If you're organized, proactive, and ready to take on a variety of tasks, we want to hear from you!Responsibilities Help manage monthly Feed & Animal Health inventory counts and conduct weekly spot checks for high-moving and seasonal products. Schedule incoming loads of feed ingredients including dried distillers, modified, and pellet loads Order feed and animal health products as needed, including pre-season bulk feed ordering. Schedule bulk and modified distiller loads and maintain the bulk delivery calendar. Coordinate feed deliveries with outside sales team members. Take producer bulk feed orders and set up delivery days. Communicate with the Feed Team on orders and maintain clear communication with other Southwest Grain locations. Assist producers with feed and vaccination recommendations for their herds, with training provided if needed. Answer phones, assist producers with invoicing and packaging, and handle producer loading requests. Perform area cleaning as needed, especially ahead of big load-in times. Handle purchase orders and stock additions as required.Minimum Qualifications (required) 2+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business OperationsAdditional Qualifications
Livestock/animal nutrition experience preferred
Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands
High School diploma or GED preferred
Agriculture experience preferred
Forklift certification preferred
