Technical Expert - Main Component Exchanges

Imagine a future where you enable offshore exchange of main components like blades and gearboxes for Vattenfalls fleet of turbines by being a Tooling Expert for Vattenfall’s MCE department.  We are looking for a Technical Expert for Main Component Exchanges in Business Area Wind, a part of the Vattenfall Organization.Vattenfall is one of Europe´s largest electricity generators and producers of heat. We operate in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation with a road map aiming at achieving climate neutrality by 2050.Together with the rest of the Tooling and Equipment group, the Technical Expert for Main Component Exchanges takes the lead in developing exchange concepts for MCEs, including tooling for lifting, transportation and storage.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop MCE concepts, and business cases for such, for existing and future platformsCoordinate the development and implementation of the special tools strategyDevelop tooling and equipment for Main Component Exchanges on existing and future WTG platformsDevelop strategies for jackup operationsDevelop process for qualification of contractors/suppliers
