Superintendent- Laboratory & Monitoring

The Superintendent role will serve as the principal representative for all lab service relationships with a primary focus on the Kershaw Mineral Lab. This role will act as the primary point of contact between the business, operator of the KML, other providers of laboratory and analytical services, as well as other related service providers.The Superintendent will play a critical role in ensuring high-quality, efficient, state and federal compliant lab services that meet site operational needs.Coordinate and manage all interactions with the KML and other related service provider(s),  Serve as the primary liaison for all laboratory service contractsEnsure that services are delivered without interruption and meet operational needs through collaboration with operational and support departmentsSupport procurement processes related to the relationships being managed, including contract negotiations and contract development.Facilitate weekly and monthly performance meetingsOversee lab maintenance & reliability, including facility maintenance, and analytical equipment support and maintenance, explore and implementing improvement opportunitiesExplore feasibility of South Carolina State Certification for expanding testing capabilitiesSupport long-term planning through opportunity assessment, cost analysis and scenario planning
