Job Summary
Sets up foods such as beverages, butters bread for residents according to diets and preferences.
Delivers appropriate meal trays to resident dining room tables.
Sets up and clears the dining room tables.
Assists cook with resident meal service.
Scrapes dishes, pots and tableware prior to washing.
Loads and operates dishwasher.
Empties dishwashing machine, stacks and stores dishes, pots, pans, utensils and silverware according to procedure.
Cleans resident dining room after meals.
Participates in daily cleaning activities such as mopping floors, cleaning shelves/counters/sinks, and sanitizing carts.
Maintains a resident focused approach and responds to resident request as able in respectful manner.
Promotes, adheres to and supports resident rights.
Education and/or Experience
Graduation from high school preferred or in process of graduation, GED accepted.
Previous experience in working with people and in demonstrating respect to others.
Work Schedule
Varied shifts as needed; PRN
6:00 am - 2:30 pm or 11:30 am - 8:00 pm
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.00 - $20.50 per hour
