The Interface Manager shall be responsible for the management of all interface activities in line with the overall planning and logistics management process for the project, assuming responsibility for the development of logistics, construction integration and security strategy for the project. The role holder will lead on all the aspects of interface coordination and security as well as construction integration in both the pre-construction phase and construction and delivery phase of the major project where required.The Interface Manager will coordinate with the heads of the functions in the establishment of the Development and Delivery function, providing support in cross functional integration and ensuring there is an efficient interface between various stakeholders where appropriate.Support the Directorate in the development of the interface strategy which covers the entire project lifecycle, identifying, planning and documenting how the various contracts, systems and stakeholders shall interface and collaborate during the delivery of the project, including the Major Infrastructure Contracts and other Core ContractsReview and consider the Interface Agreement currently being developed by the client and its impact on the development of the interface strategy, and where necessary consider, suggest and implement any changes required to both the project interface strategy and the Interface Agreement to ensure the successful delivery of the major project.Ensure that relevant departments within the commission are consulted when reviewing and developing the interface strategy and Interface Agreement, particularly where there are issues with external stakeholder and/or points of integration with other projects and programmesShare, communicate and collaborate with the Project Delivery Partner in the implementation of the interface strategyCoordinate the inputs and manage the interface with any external stakeholders (for example Dublin City Council, Fingal County Council, National Transport Authority, Dublin Airport Authority, ESB Networks, CIE, Irish Rail etc.) as the project is delivered and in line with any agreements in place between organization and the external stakeholdersIdentify all key interfaces and ensure effective management arrangements are in place to ensure the scope of the interface is clearly defined, understood and that boundaries between interfacing work packages are clear on responsibilities / ownershipCoordinate all projects / work packages and maintain effective communications with interfacing stakeholders to achieve required delivery requirementsPlan and execute in accordance with all HSSEQ, scope, time and cost parametersOversee, where required, the physical site security of operations (e.g., security guards, CCTV etc.).Provide technical guidance and support to the interface team in managing an efficient delivery of the projectCoordinate with the wider project teams for works in progress, agreeing specifications and standards, construction supervision and testing requirements, providing recommendations for final acceptance of completed worksProvide input into the relevant project management processes and proceduresEnsure clear coordination with other aspects of the projects (e.g., electrical, mechanical, architectural, structural design) to ensure interfaces are functional
