BIM Modeller - Bridges

AECOM South Africa is looking for BIM Modeller for the delivery of diverse local and international bridge projects. Key responsibilities would be the preparation and management of bridge drawings using CAD and 3D modelling softwareJob Summary:Preparation and management drawings for bridges, culverts and other road related structuresPreparation and management of reinforcement detailing and bending schedules3D Revit modelling of bridges and culverts based on road and rail alignment modelsBuilding Information Modelling (BIM)Applying the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all workKnowledge of SANS, TMH7 and other relevant standards will be a benefitMinimum Requirements :Minimum of five years’ experience in the drawing and modelling of bridges, culverts and other road related structuresProficiency in AutoCad, MicroStation, Revit, or Civil 3DProficiency in rebar detailing software (CADS RC or similar) will be a benefitGood knowledge of the SANRAL and Western Cape Provincial Governments drawing procedures will be a benefitExperience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia will be considered favourableExperience of SOFiSTiK Bridge Modeler or Bentley Open Bridge will be a benefitExperienced using common data environments Autodesk Construction Cloud (BIM360) and Bentley ProjectWiseExperience of modelling reinforcement in 3D will be a benefitExperience working for Transport Authority clients in the USA, Canada and Australia will be considered favourablePersonal AttributesAbility to plan and execute work independentlyCommitment to meet deadlinesDedicated to deliver correct and accurate workGood communication skills.
