 Role OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer to support design and development projects within the passenger and commercial diesel vehicle sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end technical management of components related to engine air intake and charge air cooling systems, from concept through to post-start of production (SOP) support.
 Key ResponsibilitiesLead the technical management of engine air intake and charge air cooling components, including:Raw air intakeDamper filterClean air intakeSnow-free intakeCylinder head/crankcase ventilationDamper filter holderAcoustic componentsSpecial partsDevelop and refine design concepts in line with project milestones.Create and manage RFQ/SOR/Forward Sourcing documentation.Coordinate technical content with internal teams (design, quality, production, and service) and external suppliers.Align and consult with the customer on design and technical solutions.Prepare data transfer for engine builds and support component validation processes at customer facilities.Present design results and manage responses to NOK validation outcomes.Ensure quality and compliance across all development stages, including up to three months after SOP.Support series production with further development and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills and ExperienceProven experience in project management and design engineering within the automotive sector.Strong analytical ability to interpret project details and propose effective technical solutions.Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing technical deliverables.Excellent communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.Software and ToolsB2B Platforms (NOLIS, NVS, VAMOS, etc.)eNTIMS Office SuiteLanguage RequirementsEnglish – Fluent (Required)German – Fluent (Required for coordination with BCC)
