Schedule will be Monday-Thursday, 4:15pm-2:45am. Overtime outside of the standard scheduled hours may be required.

Competitive base pay + $2.00/hour night shift differential.

The Electronic Assembly area of the Live Events factory is responsible for producing and delivering electronic component assemblies to final assembly customers that are produced to meet the following expectations: produced safely, high quality, the right quantity, on time delivery, and production efficiency. Most importantly, a commitment from all employees to focus on the work of continuous improvement while performing their work is required.

Troubleshoot and repair SMT-placed and through hole-type products with attention to detail and with an emphasis on quality.

Product repair definition includes but may not be limited to:

Problem solving (troubleshooting), followed by removal and replacement of electronic components on printed circuit boards or module assemblies.

Use manual or automated soldering practices that yield soldering results that meet IPC soldering specifications.

Be willing to learn and practice daily problem solving in the context of finding/developing efficiencies within the daily work we do to yield greater capacity of existing resources, including ourselves.

Complete all required Aegis tests and repair data entries/documentation.

Participate in the work of root cause analysis, which may include attending factory quality meetings.

Train/mentor others (full-time or student technicians) on work practices that are learned/developed. Demonstrate willingness to learn (self-development) and be receptive to being trained by others.

May travel to a customer installation sites to support on-site repairs.

Work effectively as a team member.

Learn and use the factory escalation process as expected.

Follow company and factory safety and work practice standards.

Be committed to predictable work attendance, including planning time off in advance when possible.

Perform other duties as assigned and needed to meet customer and/or business unit expectations.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering Technology, or related major required.

Ability to successfully participate as a member of a team.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to learn quickly and “on the fly.”

Physical requirements include the ability to:

Possess the manual dexterity to handle very small parts with repetition.

Learn and practice proper/safe lifting habits. Lifting may include loads up to 50 pounds and/or awkward items.

Reach in all directions (potentially in awkward positions).

Work while standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

Work with some odors (solder fumes/paint/coating material, adhesives, etc.).

Distinguish and identify colors (wires, paint, etc.).

Fluent in English, written and verbal.

Computer skills necessary to learn/use software such as Glovia, Aegis, Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, and other applications.
