Well Test Operator

Role based in Moomba, SA, 5710Permanent Full-TimeSalary $80k - $90KSGS is looking for an experienced Well Test Operator to be responsible to assist, backup, advise or support any activity/duty necessary to achieve the company objectives/deadlines as may be practicable within the time and workload constraints of their job specification. May be required to work at an SGS workshop on occasions while at home to assist with job preparation and equipment maintenance.Key Responsibilities include, however, are not limited to:Contribute to operational tasks and support job-specific activities.Ensure compliance with field equipment maintenance programs.Participate in field crew assessments and performance reviews.Selecting tools and equipmentAssembling and installing new and modified mechanical assemblies, components, machine tools and controls, and hydraulic power systemsPerforming and directing field and laboratory testsEnsuring that designs and finished work are within specifications, regulations and contract provisionsAccurately report test data and relevant information to supervisors.Support job planning, ensuring programs are understood and executable.Verify availability and readiness of required equipment.Validate the accuracy and relevance of collected data.Adhere to SGS policies and government regulations. Support onsite operations in alignment with job programs.Report near misses and hazardous situations promptly.Participate in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) programs.Use and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) appropriately.
