Sales Assistant

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a dedicated Sales Assistant in the manufacturing industry. The role is based in Wellford, South Carolina, 29385, United States. As a Sales Assistant, you will be tasked with enhancing customer relationships, processing orders, and leveraging CRM tools to maintain customer records. Responsibilities: Foster and maintain relationships with existing customers through regular communication Handle customer inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses Process customer orders effectively and provide reliable lead times Utilize CRM systems to track customer interactions and maintain up-to-date customer records Engage customers who have not made recent orders to understand their needs and encourage repeat business Use tools like ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and Crystal Reports to support sales operations Manage cash activity and cash handling processes as needed Support the company's buying processes and ensure compliance Respond to inbound calls, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues Carry out data processing tasks using software like About Time. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is mandatory. Must be experienced in using Concur. Proficient use of CRM software is required. Familiarity with Crystal Reports is a significant advantage. Strong data processing skills are essential. Experience with About Time software is expected. Capable of effectively answering inbound calls. Comprehensive understanding of buying processes is required. Regular involvement in cash activity is essential. Previous experience in cash handling is preferred.
