This exciting career opportunity will support the delivery and oversight of our Compliance and Internal Audit function.  You will thrive in this role if you are passionate about working in an agile environment, enjoy solving problems and motivated by curiosity and a strong sense of ethics. What you'll doDraft reports to Executive Leadership Team and Audit Committee such as the Internal Audit Status Update and monthly CEO reporting and KPIs, findings and Compliance action plansProject support with the build and maintenance of the ERM system "Protecht" by assisting with the set up of compliance obligations within ERM systemWork with stakeholders in relation to compliance maturity projects and controls reviews as requiredProcess mapping to identify process improvement opportunities and key control identification to assist with internal audit and investigation work requiredFollow up of actions points relating to the policies program and complete quarterly checklist to assist with the overall monitoring of policies programAssist Internal Audit Manager with scoping, fieldwork and reporting for in-house audits What you'll bringTertiary qualifications in Business, Accounting, Finance, Law, Engineering or Risk Management, or a related field.Two to four years’ experience in compliance, internal audit, risk, governance, or related areas.Attention to detail ensuring accuracy and identifying discrepanciesTime management and adaptability being able to prioritise and efficiently manage tasks to meet deadlines and multiple tasks.Proven ability to communicate and effectively build strong relationships with business stakeholdersPassionate about working in an agile environment, enjoy solving problems and motivated by curiosity and a strong sense of ethics and integrity.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends and provide insightsProficient in Excel, analytical tools and AI toolsDriving operational efficiency by streamlining processes within the ERM system and broader business environmentStrong interpersonal skills and team collaboration What's in it for you?At the NRMA we aren’t just about discounts (although you do get these too).
