To put it simply we want our people to thrive and love the work they do.The Legal Counsel, Regulatory & Disputes is responsible for management of legal matters relating to Rest including providing legal advice to Rest Business Units, Board and management regarding Rest’s legal rights and duties; and managing Legal Counsel direct reports with a specific focus on regulatory and disputes.Key Accountabilities/ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice on regulatory and licensing obligations, and support business compliance.Liaise with regulators (ASIC, APRA), including managing communications, reports, and presentations for prudential reviews.Manage disputes and litigation, including coordination with external legal counsel.Advise leadership on regulatory impacts to strategic decisions and business operations.Monitor and communicate regulatory changes relevant to Rest.Provide guidance on Rest’s licences, representative activities, and regulatory reporting frameworks.Support executive and board responses to government and regulatory inquiries.Represent Rest in industry forums and share relevant insights with internal stakeholders.
