The RolePartner with and support a portfolio of business areas to strengthen and continuously improve

the management of risk, and build risk and compliance capability throughout the organisation.

The portfolio for this role includes, among other things, the ALH hotels business, which has a

unique risk profile that includes both regulatory compliance risk and operational risk. Working

within the growing Risk and Compliance function (Line 2), you will have the opportunity to work

on risk management activities across the Endeavour business, with a diverse range of business

stakeholders including our Executive Leadership, and build a strong understanding of our

business, purpose and strategy, whilst applying your risk expertise to support and enable our

business to live its purpose and grow. In this role and team you will have an opportunity to drive

Read on.Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:Support risk management across the business by continuing to embed risk management into our culture and day to day operations: risk identification, risk assessment/analysis, process flow and controls assessment, documentation and reporting - this will be done working closely with senior risk colleagues and partnering with business stakeholders, and will include facilitating risk discussions and workshop sessions throughout the organization, encompassing operational, managerial, and executive levels.Proactively contribute to the development and continuous improvement of risk management, compliance and assurance frameworks, strategies and methodologies in conjunction with the wider Risk & Compliance team.Support the ongoing embedding of risk management into our culture and ways of working, including identifying new and innovative ways of approaching risk management tailored to the  business audience.Preparation of reporting on risk and risk management activities for stakeholders, including Board and Executive management.Business partnering - become the go-to leader of risk management for your portfolio of Endeavour’s business e.g. ALH hotels. You will sit alongside the leadership teams for these business areas to support their risk management strategies and enable risk capability uplift across their teams at operational, managerial, and executive levels.Proactively build effective relationships with a diverse range of internal stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of the business strategy.Apply your risk/compliance knowledge and experience (and influencing skills) to build risk and compliance awareness, engagement and understanding across the business at all levels of the organisation; and look for opportunities to enhance, operationalise and embed risk/compliance management.Actively contribute to the continued growth and development of the Risk & Compliance team and their key deliverables.Build strong working relationships with team members and work to ensure risk management activities are consistent across internal stakeholder groups where possible.Share best practice approaches and ways of working across the team to help fast track the embedding of risk management and the uplift in risk management capabilities across the business.Contribute to the improvement and further development of risk, compliance and assurance policies, frameworks and procedures, and the methods for communicating and embedding those frameworks across the business.
