Sr. Accountant

Description We have partnered with a client in the manufacturing industry, located on the east side of Spartanburg, South Carolina, offering an exciting opportunity as a Sr. Accountant. This is a direct hire opportunity - all inquiries remain confidential!In this role, you will be focused on performing a variety of accounting tasks, including inventory reconciliation, cost accounting, and month-end close activities. This position is on-site and offers growth opportunities.Responsibilities: Conducting cost accounting activities for manufacturing processes Ensuring accurate inventory reconciliation Preparing and processing journal entries in the general ledger Carrying out month-end close procedures efficiently Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks Performing account and balance sheet reconciliations Utilizing SAP or other ERP systems for accounting tasks Monitoring and maintaining accurate customer credit records Processing customer credit applications with precision Taking appropriate action to monitor customer accountsRequirements Proven experience in Account Reconciliation. Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation. Demonstrated skills in performing Bank Reconciliations. Comprehensive understanding of General Ledger. Capability to prepare and adjust Journal Entries. Expertise in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with Month End Close procedures. Experience with ERP systems such as SAP Proficiency in Inventory Reconciliation. Solid understanding of Manufacturing Cost Accounting.
