Controller (Plant)

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the manufacturing industry located in Spartanburg, South Carolina, United States. This role is for a Controller (Plant) who will handle overall accounting and finance responsibilities of the plant, perform monthly close, MIS reporting, bank reporting, budgets, and lead audits and tax filing.Responsibilities: Oversee overall accounting and finance functions of the plant Conduct monthly close, MIS reporting, and bank reporting tasks Develop budgets and manage them effectively Lead and prepare for audits and tax filing procedures Actively participate in handling reconciliations and SAP cleanup tasks Utilize ERP/SAP experience to enhance efficiency Leverage manufacturing background to understand and streamline processes Prepare month-end assignments and close audits Utilize skills in 'Accounting Functions', 'Auditing', 'Budget Processes', 'SAP HANA', 'Month End Close', "Department SOP's", 'Monthly Sales Tax', 'Bank Reconciliations', 'General Ledger', 'Journal Entries'.Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Functions is essential Experience in Auditing is required Familiarity with Budget Processes is necessary Knowledge of SAP HANA is a plus Capability to handle Month End Close activities is expected Understanding and adherence to Department SOP's is crucial Experience in handling Monthly Sales Tax is needed Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is important Familiarity with General Ledger maintenance is required Experience in making Journal Entries is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
