Director of Sales & Marketing

We are seeking a commercially driven and strategic Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our commercial function and position the hotel as a market leader in Brisbane’s competitive hospitality landscape. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is responsible for developing and executing the hotel’s Sales & Marketing strategies, with a focus on driving performance across corporate, MICE, leisure, and digital channels.You will lead a small Sales & Marketing team, including other senior leaders, and work closely with Accor’s regional support teams to leverage global tools and campaigns. The role requires a strong understanding of market segmentation, channel mix optimisation, and performance metrics. Key Responsibilities:Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform tactical and strategic decisions.Monitor and optimise performance metrics including RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and channel mix.Develop and execute the hotel’s commercial strategy across all market segments.Oversee digital marketing, brand positioning, and public relations initiatives.Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and client functions.Lead and mentor a high-performing Sales & Marketing team.
