Position supports the AFCENT A6 at Shaw AFB, SC. Requires an intermediate level of experience in planning and scheduling various project workload. Must have experience in gathering and analyzing information to prepare status reports. Must have experience in ensuring that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy. Must have experience in evaluating current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects. This position is contingent upon successful contract award to V2X. ResponsibilitiesMajor Job Activities:
Provide planning management support and perform the following functions:
Analyze C4 systems manpower requirements at USAFCENT locations;
Assist subordinate units with preparing changes to the deployment requirements manning document (DRMD); coordinate DRMD changes at USAFCENT HQ and with appropriate external agencies, including the Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) Center;
Coordinate with USAFCENT bases, the AEF Center, HQ Air Combat Command (ACC), and other USAF commands on the identification of personnel to fill DRMD positions;
Assist with C4 systems functional management for USAFCENT and AFCENT locations in the CONUS;
Coordinate with the USAFCENT Joint Operation Planning and Execution System staff, the AEF Center, HQ ACC, other USAF commands, and joint transportation resources on inputs to the time-phased force deployment data (TPFDD) required for supporting the continuing rotation and deployment of personnel to SWA;
Provide inputs to the TPFDD and time-phased force deployment list to schedule movements of C4 systems personnel;
Provide inputs to the DRMD, as required;
Provide staff coordination documents, briefings, and staff papers, as required.
Material & Equipment Directly Used:
Government computers and DoD approved software.
Working Environment:
Work is completed in a climate-controlled facility / office.
Physical Activities:
Must be able to lift / push / pull 40 lbs. unassisted.
QualificationsEducation / Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or similar work experience
U.S. Citizen
Active Secret Tier 3 (or higher) Security Clearance
Experience / Skills:
Associate level experience in planning and scheduling project tasks; gathering and analyzing information to prepare status reports; ensuring assignment and scheduling of work follows policies; evaluating current procedures and recommending changes to improve efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects; AND
5 years experience with managing, supervising, and coordinating military communication systems; planning and implementing activities; managing communication architecture, configuration, and integration conformity; working and communicating with military officers; AND
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
