Description Robert Half is in the process of hiring an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk with a company in the Health Pharm/Biotech field. The Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk role offers an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of a company in the Health Pharm/Biotech industry. Located in Ridgeville, South Carolina, the Accounts Payable Clerk will be a short-term contract / temporary opening. In this influential department, there is a possibility for further career growth and advancement. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be expected to match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks.Your responsibilities in this role
Ensure compliance with company policies while carrying out daily processes and controls accurately and on time
Provide support during internal and external audits
Perform full-cycle A/P
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Maintain proper storage of invoices, checks, and other documents by organizing, logging, scanning, and filing them
Open, sort, and distribute daily department mail
Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling
Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
Carry out additional projects as required Requirements - Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
Strong attention to detail
SAP experience preferred
Command of Code Invoices
Strong familiarity with Enter Vendor Invoices
Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds
