We’re proud of brands, like COLORBOND ® steel that inspire and protect everything from hospitals to bridges and stadiums.The OpportunityOur Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Systems Controller in our Blast Furnace team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.Working in a supportive environment, we will continuously develop you in the role. You will primarily work in a control room environment and assist in the production of our world-class products. This essential role works a 12-hour rotating day and night shift, 7 days a week.What Will You Do?With your hands-on approach and a keen interest to grow and develop yourself technically, you will:utilise your dedicated technical focus to investigate and resolve plant and process faultsmonitor and manage the processing plant and equipment to assist in the production of our high-quality productswork collaboratively with managers and peers to improve the efficiency of the Blast Furnaceassist with improving work and safety standards and environmental systems by developing new practices and proceduresMore About YouWith leadership experience, you are passionate about improvement initiatives, problem-solving and sharing ideas with your team.
