The Controls Engineer will complete controls ad log architecture to the Drive Standards, ensuring a robust commissioning and ramp period. The Controls Engineer will also support the Engineering department in Continuous Improvement initiatives.Your Responsibilities
Support Manufacturing Engineering in the development of standards and specifications, including a complete purchase parts list related to controls systems.
Plan and implement improvements related to the specific controls systems.
Support I4.0 transformation.
Can perform duties of a Maintenance Technician.
Work with area maintenance planner to prioritize task to be done during non-production hours.
Troubleshooting for robots, PLC's, electrical circuits, pneumatics, hydraulics
Who we are looking forThe Controls Engineer should be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and comfortable in a manufacturing environment. Preferred experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC's, as well as Kuka, Fanuc, and ABB robots.Your preferred qualificationsEducation
Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year experience and/or training; or Technical Apprenticeship with Certification or Journeyman Card; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 4 years of automated manufacturing technical experience required.
