Description We are in search of a meticulous Field Project Engineer to join our team located in Pendleton, South Carolina. The role will involve supervising and planning various projects, managing resources and logistics, and ensuring exceptional client experience. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity within the construction industry.Responsibilities: Oversee, plan, and manage construction projects to ensure quality, budget, and timeline goals are met. Supervise and lead subcontractors in project execution. Manage project schedules and coordinate inspections as required by permits and governmental authorities. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA job-site requirements. Conduct weekly safety meetings with subcontractors. Apply standard operating procedures in all aspects of work. Manage vendor relationships effectively. Handle low voltage cabling tasks as part of the project management process. Oversee the completion and certification of projects, including punch completion and final completion certifications. Monitor and control project resources and materials. Requirements Demonstrated experience in project management, preferably within the construction industry Proficient in low voltage cabling and general cabling practices Strong understanding of electrical design Experience managing vendor relationships effectively Capable of handling and overseeing multiple construction projects concurrently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and clients Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field preferred Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure Comfortable working in various field conditions and environments Familiarity with industry-standard project management software and tools Highly organized with excellent time management skills Ability to travel to various field locations as required.
