Job Title: Technician, ProductionReports To: Manager, ProductionPosition Location: North Charleston, SC FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Summary:The Production Technician will assist across various areas in the lab. The Lab Tech will gain exposure to bottling, inventory, safety, and other functions in a laboratory environment. Roles / Responsibilities:
Assist in bottling and packaging of products
Work with Chemists and other Chemical Technicians to perform routine laboratory tasks
Assist in bottle washing and cleaning
Assist Chemists with washing glassware
Perform monthly inventory on packaging materials
Learn and perform proper handling of Acids and Bases
Supports and complies with HPS safety program and notifies supervisor of any safety hazards
Supports the development, maintenance, and continual improvement of the HPS Quality Management System
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
Two years of college; pursuing a science related degree; minimum of sophomore standing preferred
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to support team in executing various projects and assignments
Ability to prioritize tasks, with strong attention to detail
Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization
Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organization
