Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
Manage and coordinate all manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of production supervisors and workers to achieve production targets and quality standards.
Monitor production processes to identify and address issues that may impact quality, efficiency, or safety.
Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to resolve production-related issues and improve processes.
Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to support manufacturing operations.
Prepare reports, presentations, and updates for senior management on manufacturing performance, challenges, and opportunities.
