DescriptionSAIC has an opening for an Ethics Data Analyst. This role has the primary responsibility for supporting the Ethics Department’s data analytics and trend analysis. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining new data analysis processes for the Ethics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to ethical practices and compliance within the organization. In addition, the Ethics Analyst may be asked to assist with any of the projects or responsibilities performed by the Ethics Office including training, presentations, personal conflict of interest disclosures internal Ethics investigations, measuring program effectiveness and engagement initiatives such as site visits. This position will work a hybrid remote schedule. Onsite work will be in Reston, VA, Charleston, SC, Huntsville, AL, or Oak Ridge, TN depending on where the candidate resides.Specific Responsibilities Include:

Identify data needs and develop data collection strategies.

Gather and compile relevant data from various sources, including internal systems, databases, and external resources.

Clean, validate, and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies related to ethical behavior and compliance.

Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to present key findings and insights to stakeholders.

Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify potential areas of risk or non-compliance with ethical policies and procedures.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Human Resources, and Compliance, to ensure alignment and consistency in data analysis and reporting.

Assist in the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance ethical practices and mitigate risks.

Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in ethical data analysis and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Support the Ethics Department in conducting investigations or audits by providing relevant data and analysis as needed.

Ensure data privacy and security by adhering to established protocols and regulations.

Analyzing the data resulting from survey engagements—to include SAIC’s biennial survey and assisting the development of approaches to communicate and act on results.

Managing and maintaining relevant policies, instructions and processes

Assisting with metrics preparation and analysis for quarterly review by SAIC leadership and Board of Directors.

Oversight and updating of Ethics program documentation

Assisting with the creation and dissemination of the Ethics Department’s engagement materials

Preparing presentations for other meetings at the request of the Chief Ethics Officer and advising senior leadership as required

Responding timely to ad hoc inquiry requests and coordinating responses provided by internal Subject Matter Experts

Assisting in other Ethics and Compliance initiatives as assigned

QualificationsRequired Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field with 3+ years of experience, or a Masters and 1+ year of experience. An additional 4+ years may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Must be a US Citizen.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications

Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role

Proficient in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar programming languages.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.

Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.

Knowledge of ethical principles, compliance frameworks, and regulations is highly desirable.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Strong communication skills to effectively present findings and insights to stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Ethical mindset with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive data appropriately.
