We boldly go.This position has been designated as On-Site.Job Summary:The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leadership of teams of receiving, warehousing, and material movement, and team leaders with materials, equipment, and plant supplies.Position Responsibilities: Achieve warehouse operational objectives through the contribution of warehouse operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews. Meet warehouse and plant financial objectives by assessing staffing playbooks, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions. Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, and creates processes/standard work for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping. Continuous development, implementation, adherence, and evaluation of policies and procedures. Establish warehouse operations system improvements by analyzing process workflow, personnel, space requirements, equipment layout, and implementing changes. Maintain physical condition of warehouse leveraging lean tools such as 5S and plan for every part.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred; 3+ years of supervisor experience required in lieu of degree; Lean/OpEx experience leading change; and/or 2+ years of warehouse/materials experience. Experience in warehouse/distribution / manufacturing environment required. Experience in operations, inventory management, visual management systems, Microsoft Office products, inventory control/shipping software, MRP, and/or lean manufacturing processes. Intermediate to advanced computer skills such as Excel Data analysis skills are a plus.Physical Requirements:Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate staff and to interact with various departments throughout the organization.
