Gro-Masters, Inc. is seeking to fill our Myrtle Beach Operations Manager position where you will be a valued and respected member of a close-knit team. Your efforts and opinions will help continue to drive the growth of a family-owned business that has operated for over 30 years!

We are looking to establish a long-term relationship with a dedicated and motivated individual possessing a strong work ethic who is looking to excel in meaningful work in a supportive and appreciative setting.

Salary:

$55,000 + up based on experience and qualifications

This is an exempt position and the salary is based on experience. Benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short, and Long Term Disability, FSA, 401k, Supplemental (Accident, Hospital, Critical Illness ), Paid Time Off (PTO), and Holiday Pay. Safety essentials are provided by the company.

Responsibilities:

Oversee every aspect of branch production operations – this is a hands-on position, requiring leadership by example.

Ensure all Company Safety Protocols and Company Policies are followed.

Determine work procedures, prepare daily work schedules, expedite workflow, participate in production activities when necessary and track daily and weekly efficiencies of branch employees, ensuring performance standards are accomplished.

Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training of all necessary staff.

Evaluate current staff performance and make compensation recommendations or disciplinary actions as necessary.

Completes required production forms and customer instructions.

Responsible for the vehicles and equipment through cleanliness and safety, communicating when mechanical maintenance is necessary.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Prefer a bachelor’s degree or 2-3 years of related supervisory experience in lawn/horticulture, sales, or management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record.

Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen.

We strongly prefer a candidate with proven time management skills, a drive to succeed, and a willingness to constantly improve.

Lift to 50 lbs. independently.

Push and pull equipment.

Occasionally required to:

Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Noise level:

Moderate to loud.

Adverse Conditions:

Subject to outdoor weather conditions which may include extreme cold, extreme heat, or wet conditions

Subject to exposure to animals and insects.
