We are hiring a Service Tech Helper.
A Service Tech Helper job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Assisting the Service Tech Supervisor with:
o Leak calls
o Maintenance
o Repairs
o Tenant improvements
Assist with job Hazard Analyses, daily documentation, procurement, and accountability for materials and equipment required for work orders
Inspect safety equipment daily and ensure all company equipment is in safe working condition
Service can vary in size from General housekeeping to minor repairs, re-roofs and new construction installations up to 1,000 square feet
This is an entry-level position, with many advancement opportunities
Spann Roofing & Sheet Metal, Inc. services will be performed on a wide variety of roofing systems, both flat and sloped, including:
Built-up roofing (cold and torch-applied assemblies)
Coatings
EPDM/TPO/PVC
Metal roofing and flashings
Shingles
Tile
Our Requirements:
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE
Commitment to customer service and customer satisfaction a must
Travel required with the use of a company service truck
Ability to operate construction software on smartphones, tablets, and computers
Roofing experience preferred but not required
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements (OSHA 10-hour certification a plus)
Must be capable of strenuous activity required to tear-off, carry, and dispose of roofing material
Weekend work required as needed
