Full-time Summer Camp Counselor Needed (Surfside Beach, SC)
Trinity Y2K (ministry of Trinity Presbyterian Church) is a licensed Child Care Center (ABC level C).
Summer camp counselor (10 weeks) and/or part-time fall after-school
Wage starts between $13.00/hour.
Experience is preferred but not required.
All job applicants:
must be at least 17 and must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED (DSS requirement),
if hired, must pass a thorough background check (SLED, FBI, Central Registry).
Staff requirements include:
Love working with children.
CPR and first aid certified (within 90 days of hire).
Thorough background check (SLED, FBI, Central Registry, Inspector General)
Either have taken ECD 101 or have completed the 15-hour DSS health and safety course (within 90 days of hire).
Continuing education classes throughout the year (year-round staff only)
Be dependable and flexible.
If an applicant does not have the training requirements, we will make them available within the first 90 days of being hired. All new staff are required to be supervised (not be alone with children) for a minimum of 6 months from start date.
Full background checks can take 1-4 weeks to be returned. Provisional work is possible.
