Part-time Bookkeeper
Bookkeeper Job Description
The Bookkeeper position will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable duties including receipt, processing, and recording of payments.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card accounts.
- Data entry of customer accounts.
- Assist with month-end close activities including reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end balance sheet preparation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting procedures and principles.
