IHT Staffing is currently needing an Accounting/Controller for a well-established company in Myrtle Beach. The right candidate will have the following experience:
Maintain electronic records of all invoices, assessments, taxes, utility, and other bills received and forward to accounting manager
Create and send quarterly invoices to accounting manager
Obtain verifications from subcontractors, vendors, and tenants and forward to accounting manager
Be available to help with correspondence, leases, subcontractors, and other matters as needed
Manager door control access system
Use of Quickbooks accounting software and cash basis accounting method
Process AR/AP for companies managed in the office
Prepare bank deposits and reconcile all company edgers in QB
Perform account reconciliations and invoicing for all companies
Obtain W-9 forms from al vendors and subcontractors as needed and maintain electronic copies
Record expenses and income in QB for all improved and unimproved real estate purchases and sales
Assist in preparing and updating personal financial statements
Monthy payroll, payroll tax reports, payroll tax payments
Quarterly payroll tax reports
Annual federal payroll reports and tax forms for qualified vendors/contractors, along with state payroll tax reports
Reconcile company tax return with QB and enter end-of-the year adjusting entries shown on tax returns into QBs
Must also be able to answer phones, check mailbox, order supplies and other office duties as needed and required.
Notary is a plus
Monday -Friday, 9a - 5p with some flexibility
