Job Description SummaryJob DescriptionPURPOSE: Responsible for the snipping of the catheter.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Snips inflation holes in the lumens.
Must have accurate record keeping skills.
Must follow all GMP/BOP guidelines.
Maintain clean and organized work area as outlined in the GMPs.
Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/TRAINING/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
High School diploma or GED
Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure, including whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Accurately able to measure weight, volume and temperature.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms; use hands or arms (to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls). The employee is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Excellent finger and manual dexterity are essential in this position.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perception.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee is not subjected to noise above OSHA levels without providing hearing protection, which will attenuate the noise to less than 85 db.
The Personal Protective Equipment required to perform this job safely includes safety glasses and appropriate shoes.
