Our team currently work on a diverse range of projects with clients in the insurance, investment management and banking sector. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop their career by immersing themselves into projects working with our insurance and other financial services clients. ResponsibilitiesThe typical duties a Senior Consultant will be involved in are: Execution of the end to end internal audit for our financial services clients, from the planning phasing including identification of risks and expected controls through to fieldwork and reporting phasesThrough a combination of walkthroughs and detailed testing, you will evaluate the design and operational effectiveness of internal controls for a range of business processes depending on the nature of the client businessIdentification of control deficiencies and opportunities to enhance our clients internal control environmentContributing to the development of your own, and the team’s, technical acumen through continuous mentoring and leading of your audit team whilst on engagementsEffective communication with client personnel, team members and the Deloitte engagement manager and Partner during all phases of the engagement processPreparing high quality work papers and internal audit or other assurance reportsBeing actively involved in internal department initiatives such as training, business development activities, coaching and graduate recruitment
