Intern - Facilities Engineer

Purpose of the RoleSupport the accurate and timely execution of plant layout updates during the relocation of machines. Ensure all as‑built conditions are properly measured, documented, and reflected in the official layout files. Key Responsibilities1. Measurement & VerificationConduct physical measurements of equipment, lines, and building spaces to confirm dimensions.Verify that actual machine locations and infrastructure match approved layouts.2. Layout Drawing UpdatesUpdate AutoCAD (or other CAD tool) files to reflect actual conditions and approved changes.Maintain version control and file organization under guidance from engineering.3. Change TrackingDocument layout changes coming from relocation activities, construction adjustments, or new requirements.Keep change logs aligned between the current building and the new building layouts.4. Coordination & ReportingWork closely with project engineers, maintenance, and contractors to capture changes promptly.Prepare simple layout markups or measurement reports for project meetings.5. Compliance with StandardsApply Bosch layout standards for line spacing, safety zones, and material flow as directed by the supervising engineer.
