Description Our client is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper for their Irmo business. The ideal candidate will be talented and ambitious. The Bookkeeper is in charge of data entry, full cycle A/P, and cash applications. Likewise, you will be responsible for reconciliation, month-end closing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Process Monthly Billing & Accounts Receivable

Manage monthly accounting close

Form monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

Maintains sales tax records and creates and files quarterly payments

Retain a general ledger

Sustain monthly accounting close

Produce cash flow projections, as needed

Other special projects as requested

Credit Card management and reconciliation

Ready subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirement

Manage Accounts Payable

Requirements - Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills

Progressive accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

3+ years of related experience- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well

Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Construction Accounting experience

Solid understanding of QuickBooks

Proven knowledge of billing

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Job Cost experience

Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
