We are currently recruiting residential door (interior and exterior) installers for the Savannah (GA) & Hilton Head (SC) markets.
We are a general contracting company providing residential installation services on behalf of the home improvement retailers. Applicants must have proven installation experience and be willing to train on processes. This position requires high volume appointments and a considerable amount of driving. Appointments are scheduled back to back - punctuality and communication are key to being successful.
We need detailed, customer centric, quality focused and problem-solving individuals to join our team. You must be able to manage your time, day-to-day activities and duties under reduced supervision. Youll receive consistent pay; pay periods run bi-weekly and crew members are paid by direct deposit.
This position is a (1099) independent contracting arrangement. The pay is by piece work; installers are paid a fixed percentage (%) rate for each unit produced or action performed regardless of time. We provide access to proprietary technology that will help with managing tasks, office support and scheduling services. No marketing or advertising burden; consistent work-flow from the major home improvement retailers - we generate the work while you focus on providing quality installations.
Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Own your own transport and tools
- Provide proof of insurance (Workers Compensation, General Liability & Automobile Liability)
- Related (2-4) year carpentry or construction experience
- Access to a computer, internet, tablet or a smart phone
- Able to Install various interior and exterior door types.
- Install Storm Doors: A storm door is a second, outer door commonly installed for protection against bad weather, and allows for ventilation in fair weather. Storm doors typically have interchangeable or retractable glass and screen panels and are available in many sizes and materials.
- Conduct field measure appointments; Provide measurements e.g. door size = frame width, height and jamb width, Identify any damage, structural issues, preexisting conditions when conducting field measures, Report information on measure in mobile application, Maintain measurements and records, Assist in the investigation and resolution on over or short measurement situations, Prepare associated paperwork to ensure accurate delivery of sizes and EPA documentation
