Oceanside Properties is growing and we are looking someone to help keep our properties running and looking great!
We need someone good at fixing, assembling, installing and reviewing completed jobs. The right applicant will have great attention to detail and care that everything is done right. You’ll need to be responsive, communicate well and enjoy the variety that comes with this fast-paced business. It helps to have a sense of humor as well – and we hope you enjoy sound effects. More on that in the interview… :)
Responsibilities:
Handle small repairs (securing towel racks, fixing locks, adjusting/leveling doors, mount TVs, pictures)
Identify, diagnose and fix/oversee larger repairs (leaks, appliance replacements, new light fixtures, etc.)
General upkeep on properties (replace filters, check smoke alarms, batteries in remotes, etc.)
Exterior maintenance (occasional power washing, leaf blowing, pool skimming)
Assist in onboarding new properties (removal of old furniture, setup/install new furniture, appliances,
etc.)
Track and report on costs, time and work order detail in our property management system
Work with the rest of the team to ensure guests and owners stay happy and satisfied!
Qualifications:
Handyman/maintenance experience.
Ability to fix small electrical and plumbing problems.
Strength to lift, move and adjust heavy furniture and TVs.
Responsive and clear communication skills – both in-person and over text.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
