Brain Balance of Bluffton is looking for highly qualified, flexible, energetic, patient and positive individuals to join our team. The Brain Balance program is designed to help children who struggle with issues related to behavior, academics, and socialization. We work directly with children that are diagnosed with, but not limited to, Autism, ADHD, Aspergers, Dyslexia, and Processing Disorders. This is an ideal and rewarding position for those who enjoy working with children and watching them succeed!
We are looking for applicants who can coach students in a physical/academic setting.
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:
Experience in working with school aged children a plus
Experience in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Special Ed, Education, Psychology or related field is a plus
Must be able to multi-task
Must be available most evenings until 7pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
The coach is responsible for assisting 2 children through a specialized activity circuit following Brain Balance protocols with attention to detail.
The coach must record data on every child in each activity
The coach must employ behavior management techniques
HOURS & SCHEDULING
This is a 10-20 hour position
Mostly afternoons / evenings from 2pm - 7pm
Hours are based on student schedule
