Payroll Clerk

Description We are offering a contract for a Payroll Clerk position in Greer, South Carolina. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient processing of payroll data, including timekeeping records, payments, and tax forms. You will also be tasked with resolving any payroll discrepancies and maintaining comprehensive employee records.Responsibilities: Verify and collect timekeeping information for all employees Accurately calculate paychecks, including overtime, holiday, and vacation pay, and facilitate direct deposits Prepare and issue necessary tax documents, such as W-2s and 1099s Reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy Address and resolve any discrepancies in payroll Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date payroll data for all employees Generate pertinent payroll reports and provide them to the accounting department for evaluation Assist with audits related to payroll, both internal and external Address employee inquiries and provide support for any payroll-related issues.
