Our client, In the beauty industry is seeking a Equipment Operator to join their team. As a Equipment Operator, you will be part of the Fulfillment supporting team. Uses powered industrial trucks (PIT), including but not limited to Forktrucks, Orderselectors, Dockstockers, and Powered Pallet Jacks as a primary job function (75% or more of your time); will certify on equipment.
Performs daily checks on equipment prior to operating
Follows all safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including: hazard recognition, housekeeping, accident and near miss reporting, proper use of all safety equipment and procedures, and adherence to all safety rules.
Report faulty equipment, damage to company property including racks, and other safety hazards to supervisor.
Restocks picking bins with product brought from reserve storage
What’s Needed?
Stand up forklift experience
Consistently lifts, bends, stands, walks, stoops and kneels; occasionally crouches, crawls and climbs stairs during an 8 hour or 10 hour shift and during extended overtime shifts as needed
Uses a scanner to direct work (pick, pack, receive, move)
ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Uses hands and fingers to handle, or feel; repeatedly reaches overhead with hands and arms to accomplish tasks; uses hearing to listen for safety hazards and instructions
