OTR Mentor job Details:
OTR Mentors go out with Recent Grad Trainees for 18 days. Mentors can take a week off between trainees and still average $100k+ yearly (not bad for working the equivalent of 9 months per year). Or if you want to make even more money, you can run solo for a week in between students. It's up to you.
Mentors still work off a 14 hr clock so: if the trainee drives 5 hours that leaves 9 hours left for the mentor to drive…mileage will vary but you can really take advantage of this clock. Mentors get priority miles each week.
Mentors get paid on all the miles the truck runs. 3000-4000 miles per week is a normal range, at .54cpm (includes productivity bonus, which you'd have to pretty much stay home to not hit). You also get additional bonus pay for graduating trainees, as well as when they hit certain milestones (picking up the trainee, graduating them, them driving 10k miles on their own, 20k miles, etc). The revenue keeps growing with each new trainee that you bring on. Typically another $12-15k yearly in these bonus's.
To become a Mentor, you just need to run with us for 2 weeks as a solo driver to make sure it's a good fit (for you and us), and then take a 1 day training course.
Solo OTR Drivers
Not interested in being a mentor? All good, we hire Solo OTR Drivers as well. Out 10-14 days, $1300+ average weekly. We'll give you all the miles you can run. 2600-2800+ miles per week easily doable, if you want them. (We've got a great Lease-Purchase program as well for interested drivers. No pressure to do it, it's up to you, but we actually set our LP drivers up to succeed)
Full Benefits, W-2, permanent position. Consistent miles and paycheck.

No-touch freight
Need at least 3 months recent company driving experience to qualify (school/military/training does not count towards ex). Can't take recent grads.
No drug test refusals or positives, and we can't take drivers termed from last job for safety.
