Prestigious Creditor Rights Firm has immediate openings for Bankruptcy Paralegals and seeks interested individuals for this position. The ideal candidate must have experience representing lenders in a consumer bankruptcy practice as well as a basic understanding of residential foreclosures, and strong client systems and case management skills.
Job Responsibilities include:
- Providing support and assistance to the attorney.
- Managing and maintaining bankruptcy files.
- Preparing and e-filing bankruptcy pleadings and other documents
- Communicating with clients, the Court, Trustees, debtors, and opposing counsel.
- Calendaring and tracking hearings and deadlines.
- Fulfilling internal and client reporting requirements.

Job Requirements
- Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office), including CM/ECF, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in one or more of the following client systems is required: LPS, Vendorscape and Lenstar.
- Must be reliable, detail oriented, highly organized and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work both independently as part of a team.
- Previous law firm experience required, preferably in a real estate or foreclosure law firm. Previous bankruptcy experienced is preferred.
- High school graduate or equivalent; Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree is preferred
