Looking for part-time work that won't break your back or your brain?
Hoping to find a fun place to work, like a campground?
Need some extra cash?
What we need:
-Reliable, hardworking individual who can follow directions and work as part of a team.
-Follow Safety and Hygiene Standards for food handling and preparation.
-High School Diploma or GED
-Good communication skills.
-Ideal for college students or retirees
What you'll do:
-Earn your "Food Handler Certificate" (online training - 2 hours - we pay for the course.) This is a certification that you'll be able to add to your resume, and it's valid for three years. (Special Preference given to applicants who already have their Food Handler's Certificate.)
-Train with us to learn about our personal cooking and cleaning procedures.
-Show up to work on-time because you are punctual, and you have a reliable means of transportation. No last minute "call-offs."
- Once you're trained, you will manage the Kinardia Kitchen. All items are pre-made. All you need to do is cook orders when they are received and deliver them (possibly) to guest sites via golf cart. You will also clean and restock the kitchen area and all kitchen equipment.
-When the kitchen is "slow," you may be asked to assist Office Staff with light cleaning/administrative duties.
-Work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 3 hours each to start. Tentative schedule is 4-7 on Friday and Saturday and 3-6 on Sunday.)
-This position could lead to more hours and different tasks to complete around the campground, for the right person.
How to Apply: Reply to this post with a brief explanation of why you think you'd be a good fit for this position. We'll also need your name and contact information and three personal/professional references. If you have one, a resume would be great, too
We're excited to hear from you!
