Assistant General Manager

Rocky's Hot Chicken Shack Greenville is looking to add talent to its leadership team in the form of an Assistant General Manager.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced casual restaurant concept and answers directly to the General Manager and Owners. The AGM should be capable of performing all the same duties as the GM.

- has open availability, and regularly works a minimum of 45 hours/week

- is responsible for scheduling team members, including self. Must adhere to all specific labor guidelines while keeping the business sufficiently prepared.

- is responsible for placing appropriate orders for supplies, and inventory in a timely fashion through various distributors while ensuring that the FOH is consistently and adequately stocked at all times

- is responsible for helping with monthly inventory.

- understands that this is a working position – you will be a working member of the team on key shifts. All positions in the company are "hands-on," and you will be in the trenches with the team when it matters.

- is highly organized and self-directed.

- is responsible for oversight of all employee and supervisor performance reviews.

- is responsible for regular communication with General Manager and Owners regarding FOH/BOH needs, issues, or concerns.

- is responsible for creation and implementation of systems to maintain the upkeep of cleanliness in and throughout the entirety of the restaurant at all times.

- is responsible for addressing all in-house guests issues, and providing the appropriate response that keeps both the best interests of the store and the guests in mind at all times.

- is responsible for communication of building and equipment maintenance needs to management and owners in a timely manner.

- is capable of working any position in the store, and regularly will work as a member of the FOH team during service

- is working toward the ultimate goal of become a GM in the future

Our ideal candidate should have experience managing guests and staff, scheduling, inventory, and training. Restaurant opening and kitchen experience is a plus.
