Job Title: Sr Specialist, Trade Compliance Job Code: 10686 Job Location: Arlington, VA. or Greenville, TX or Remote Schedule: 9/80 Job Description:

Lead internal investigations related to potential regulatory violations.

Conduct all aspects of an investigation, including creating an investigation plan, interviewing employees, reviewing documents, and drafting government disclosures or closure justifications.

Senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.

Work with Trade Compliance staff and business representatives to conduct root cause analysis and develop effective corrective action plans for violations of regulations and Company policy.

Manage, validate, and close corrective actions.

Assist with responses to government or corporate inquiries on ITAR, EAR, Customs, and other trade related matters.

Communicates within and outside of own function or business area and has responsibility for communicating to parties external to the organization when necessary.

Explains, interprets, and gains cooperation on policies, procedures and practices.

Assist with the development of case studies, trainings, and communications related to trade compliance issues.

Contribute to reviews and updates to Trade Compliance policies and procedures, harmonizing corporate command media with segment, sector, and division level work instructions.

Assist with the management of Corrective Actions to strengthen the trade compliance program.

Assist with the execution of special projects.

Reports to the Director, Trade Compliance in the Integrated Mission Systems segment of L3Harris, Technologies, Inc.

Essential Functions:

Strong investigative skills with prior experience investigating ITAR, EAR, OFAC, and Customs matters.

Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results.

Excellent writing skills; must be able to assimilate and analyze complex information and draft clear and concise narratives.

Keen judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidential information.

Strong interpersonal skills and effective oral communication skills.

Ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines.

Ability to work independently but remain a team player.

Proficiency in using spreadsheets, Teams, PowerPoint, and databases.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years prior related experience OR Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience .

6+ years of experience in ITAR, EAR, and Customs regulations.

Preferred Additional Skills:

U.S. Security clearance is preferred but not required; position may require applicant to be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security clearance

Licensed Customs Broker

Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt

Experience with OCR EASE

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $70K - $130K. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
