Human Resources & Benefits Assistant | Greenville, SC The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy's corporate office is seeking an entry-level Human Resources & Benefits Assistant. This is an on-site (non-remote) position. If you are a detail-oriented, highly-organized individual ready to break into HR, we would love to meet you!Pay range: $16-20/hour, based on experience and education.About the Sunshine House Early Learning Academy:Bright futures start here! Learn more about us by visiting www.sunshinehouse.com.Responsibilities:The HR & Benefits Assistant is a key member of the human resources team. This person will be responsible for new employee data entry, benefits administration support, and employee records management. Please note this is an entry-level position.Highlighted Duties & Responsibilities:

Review new employee paperwork; identify errors, and work with field management to resolve.

Complete accurate data entry of new employee paperwork.

Complete I-9 documents within a compliance portal and complete the E-Verify process.

Support the Benefits Manager with reports and communication.

Complete wage and employment verification for employees.

Maintain electronic employee records.

Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.

Troubleshoot common issues within the human resources information system.

Provide training on new employee onboarding and documentation.

Requirements

Human resources experience preferred, but not required

ADP Vantage experience a strong plus

High school diploma required

Ability to work in a fast-paced data-entry environment, while maintaining accuracy

Strong attention-to-detail and organization skills required

Proficiency in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe

Ability to work independently

Ability to take initiative and identify issues, research and troubleshoot, and recommend solutions.

Ability to use virtual platforms to provide training demonstrations and webinars
