Entry Level Drafter

Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking enthusiastic individuals interested in growing within CAD modeling, drafting, and design to jointheir team in Greenville, SC. This role is responsible for taking engineering input to create quality,ontime, world-class models & drawings for large scale power plant components. This role is supportingthe Configuration Management and Product Definition Engineering team and this team works alongside other engineering teams within the organization. Below is a breakdown of the daily activities: Create and maintain drawings, Bills of Materials, and CAD models/assemblies for power generation componentsSelf-sufficient in the following to enable design completion: Retrieving design input information Executing design details per standard practice and documentation Issuing drawings, models, and Bill of Materials per documented processes Interface with drafting, engineering, and manufacturing to create high quality producible designs. Help define/maintain and meet scheduled dates for design related activities and provide early communication to alert management of issues Understand and follow GD&T principles and drawing standards. Full knowledge of Bill of Material structures/principles. Proficient in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system and change management methodology.We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
