Job Title: Engineering Technician C Job Code: 18651 Job Location: Greenville, TX Schedule: 3/12 (Fri-Sun) Job Description: Performs a variety of duties in the electronic areas. Assists in the design, construction, test and check-out of test equipment. Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, operating or repair manuals, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. Works with complex machines or computer systems. Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format. Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed. Essential Functions:
Responsible for the test and evaluation of Group A electronic equipment and components.
Must be able to read and understand all detailed work instructions, drawings, schematics, and procedures and perform computer related tasks with minimal assistance.
May assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify processes.
Utilize electronic test and measurement equipment to support general laboratory test and evaluation operations (Multimeter, Logic Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, etc.).
Perform benchtop functional testing with only the guidance of a test procedure and understand what the procedure is testing.
Collect test data for review and analysis. Document equipment failures through designated reporting tools.
Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to manager.
Support facility operations through the completion of assigned tasks as directed by management.
Should be able to aquire a Secret clearance. No travel is required. Working extended hours may be required.
Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.

Daily schedule and task flexibility with minimal notice.
Basic computer skills including familiarity with windows-based programs such as Microsoft productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Word). Basic networking experience is also preferred.
Ability to interpret electrical/electronic drawings and schematics.
Experience with working in an ESD safe environment.
Familiar with standard electronic test and measurement equipment operations.
