- Position involving, the testing and validation of Mechanical Couplers, Electrical Couplers, Disc Brake Units, Tread Brake Units,
- Track Brake Units, Air Generation Treatment Unit, and Hydraulic Power Units. The role will require familiarity with the operation
- and coding of Programmable Logic Controllers, hydraulic systems, electronic control systems, and pneumatic controls.

- Engineering skills preferred include: instrumentation, electronics, mechanical design, pneumatics, hydraulics, pneumatic controls, computer programming, data analysis, and PLC systems.
- Experience in a formal laboratory environment is preferred
- Experience in test system design and implementation is preferred.
- Software experience (i.e. Solidworks, LabView, SharePoint, Visual Basic, PLC systems).
- Data acquisition and control systems experience (i.e. Graphtecs, Allen Bradley, Siemens, National Instruments)
- Strong mechanical aptitude with exposure to 3-D solid modeling software(Optional)
- Proficient in analog and digital design and electronic controls.
- Familiar with pneumatic components and principle
- Candidate should be able to read/create Electrical schematic, Wiring Diagrams.
- Also should be able to select electrical components for Testing based on Design Team specifications/requirements
- Manage a multiple project workload applying engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement and evaluate technical solutions while meeting timeline commitments.
- Design, develop and implement test strategies to satisfy product test requirements within a timely manner and within budget.
- Generation and review of documentation (test procedures, test reports, certifications, etc).
- Develop controls (using PLC, pneumatic, hydraulics, etc) for tests based on the test procedure requirements.
- Develop new test strategies to improve capability and efficiency.
- Provide hands-on support for debugging and modifying the hardware and software of existing test equipment when necessary
- Travel to multiple test sites across the United States. Estimated 10%-25% travel.
- A high degree of self-discipline, self-motivation, and integrity are required
- Strong interpersonal, technical communication, and problem-solving skills required
