Job Description SummaryYou will leverage standard suite of platform and core module analytics & algorithms, software application capabilities, strong engineering & analytics backgrounds.You will engage key technical & subject matter experts across the business for knowledge capture into the solutions. Candidate must have a background in data acquisition systems, software development, and integration.

Candidate will design and develop algorithms for data acquisition hardware and data analytics. They will provide technical vision and leadership in the digital signal processing (DSP) area. Typical projects are engineering intensive, rapid development jobs targeted at energy products such as Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines and Wind Turbines.

Excellent project management skills with technical writing and documentation control mind set.

Provide data reduction, analysis and processing of raw engineering test data including dynamic data both in real time and posttest. Dynamic data analysis can be in time, frequency, or angle domain using well-established software tools or developing new tools as needed.

Work with test and design engineers to plan, develop, and maintain, data systems to execute CDT CoE customer tests and support engineering tests both in the field and lab.

A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members

Required Qualifications

BS in Science or Engineering.

Minimum 5 years’ experience working in data acquisition technologies.

Knowledge of instrumentation to measure temperature, pressure, flow, static/dynamic stain, and vibration signals.

Desired Characteristics

PhD/MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Data Science or Electrical)

Experience working with data systems, programming languages (C#.NET, ANSI C, LabVIEW), and network architecture to support testing of GE Vernova products in the field and laboratory environment.

Experience with dynamic data acquisition, analysis, and data reduction both in time and frequency domain.

Excellent people skills; ability to work well with all levels of organization.

Boundary less thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities and disciplines.

For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $85,600.00 - 142,600.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, geographic location, and skill set.This position is also eligible for a 10% annual performance bonus.
