Description Are you a results-driven financial professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for leadership? An exciting opportunity awaits with our client, who is seeking a Controller to oversee and optimize their accounting and financial operations. As a Controller, you'll play a critical role in driving financial accuracy, compliance, and process improvement—all while providing meaningful insights to help guide business decisions.Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all general ledger activities

Take charge of month-end closing processes

Ensure accurate financial reporting

Manage accounting functions efficiently

Utilize accounting software systems effectively

Review journal entries for accuracy and completeness

Planning, directing and coordinating all accounting operational functions

Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results

Coordinating and preparing financial statements

Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process

Assessing current accounting operations, offering recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes

Evaluating accounting and internal control systems

Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff

Requirements

Possess strong skills in Month End Close procedures

Ability to prepare and present Financial Reports with accuracy and timeliness

Experience in managing financial consolidations is essential

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required, advanced degree preferred

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

Proficiency in using financial software and databases

Must have a good understanding of accounting standards and regulations

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
